I, Tiger Power Immortal, Became the Tang Empire's Imperial Preceptor from the Start

After transmigrating, Lin Yang becomes the Tiger-Strength Immortal, who is beaten to death by the Monkey King on the Journey to the West.

At this point, Sun Wukong is still imprisoned beneath Flower-Fruit Mountain, the Golden Cicada has yet to be reincarnated, and Li Shimin has yet to become the mighty and brilliant Tang Taizong of later generations.

As one of the demon candidates chosen by the gods and Buddhas to take part in the eighty-one trials, how can Lin Yang survive?

That very night, Lin Yang packs his bags and takes the two brothers, Sheep-Strength and Deer-Strength, to seek refuge with Li Shimin, who has yet to experience the Xuanwu Gate Incident.

Twenty years later:

"You say the three Imperial Preceptors are monsters? I insist they're auspicious signs. Guards, drag Tang Sanzang away and execute him!"
