Black Myth: Journey to the West: Wukong's Identity Is Revealed from the Start

From the Great Sage Equal to Heaven to Sun Wukong, the pilgrim on the journey to the west, Wukong's one regret is that he never revealed he was a disciple of Patriarch Bodhi!

What if...

Everyone in the Three Realms knew this secret? Wouldn't that mean no one could bully him, and he could just take it easy on the journey and still attain Buddhahood?

He wears the golden headband only to protect the pilgrim.

Without it, he will forever be the Great Sage Equal to Heaven who bows to neither Heaven nor Earth!

If Sun Wukong had all the immortals' magic treasures, the entire Journey to the West would be his playground!

When Taibai Jinxing did everything he could to protect Wukong as he wreaked havoc in Heaven, Patriarch Bodhi said, "We're family. Look out for your brother!"

Yang Jian faced off against Sun Wukong in a one-on-one contest of the Seventy-Two Transformations. Neither could claim victory, so Patriarch Bodhi said, "Just do some good deeds and you'll be promoted to Buddha!"

You never learned divination, so the journey is full of hardship? Patriarch Bodhi said, "What's so hard about that? I'll teach you divination!"

The Queen Mother has made you an enemy because of the peaches? Patriarch Bodhi: "There's more than enough ginseng fruit from Zhen Yuanzi!"

Master every skill that should have belonged to Sun Wukong.

Skip the frustrating parts.

Make the pilgrimage feel like child's play. I'm a disciple of Patriarch Bodhi, and nothing can stop me!
