You Accuse Me of Taking Kickbacks on Peach Sales? Why Are You Crying Now That I've Given Up?

After transmigrating to another world, Su Chen returns to his village just as the peach harvest is especially abundant this year. Drawing on the experience of two lifetimes, he finds a buyer offering a high price.

But then someone accuses him of pocketing the money!

"Don't believe Su Chen! I asked the cannery, and they clearly said they'd pay seven yuan per jin, but he told us it was six yuan per jin."

As soon as these words are spoken, the villagers all turn on him.

"What? Su Chen! Have you no conscience?"

"We trusted you so much and let you sell our peaches!"

"And you took a kickback? That's outrageous!"

At first, Su Chen still tries to explain that he had to spend money entertaining contacts, and that this year's bumper harvest isn't limited to their village.

The highest market price for peaches is only five yuan...

But the villagers have no interest in listening. As the situation grows increasingly heated,

Su Chen simply gives up and refuses to sell the peaches!

The college girl who exposed him readily promises to sell the peaches for everyone, but when the peaches ripen, they still can't sell them and are about to rot in the fields.

Yet nobody buys them, and the villagers start to panic.
