A Senior Official Drops into Handong, and Hou Liangping Gets Himself Killed Blocking the Car

A village Party secretary in Handong devoted his life to his work, only to be falsely accused after his death of embezzling public funds meant for road construction. His estate was to be confiscated.

Hou Liangping, assigned to investigate the matter, didn't want to waste time on such a minor case.

He conducted a cursory investigation and hastily declared the man guilty.

When challenged, Hou Liangping turned the accusation around:

"Your grandfather was framed? If he was innocent, why would anyone report him? If he wasn't embezzling, why was he so invested in building roads?"

Fortunately, Chen Yan, the most important leader in the Dragon Kingdom, happened to notice the case.

After a thorough investigation, he cleared the village secretary's name.

Hou Liangping was also disciplined for dereliction of duty.

But instead of reflecting on his mistake, Hou Liangping held a grudge against Chen Yan. He made things difficult for him at every turn, and even arrested him on a fabricated charge!

That day, a phone rang in the office of Zhao Mengsheng at the military district.

The army entered Handong.

Sha Ruijin, Hou Liangping, and the others were arrested on the spot and charged with treason!

That day, Handong was turned upside down!
