Sun Wukong Has Already Become a Sage, and You Still Want Him to Journey West?

Reborn in Journey to the West as a monkey on Flower-Fruit Mountain, Su Zi'an is about to die of old age when Sun Wukong finally returns from his training and passes down the Qi Refining Method.

But Su Zi'an discovers that he cannot cultivate using the Qi Refining Method.

So he pretends to have heaven-defying comprehension, hoping to trick Sun Wukong into teaching him the Great Art of the Heavenly Immortal.

"Great King, don't be fooled by the fact that I haven't cultivated these past few days. I've comprehended the Heaven-Covering Method from the Qi Refining Method."

"The Secret Realm of the Sea of Bitterness, the Secret Realm of the Dao Palace..."

"Great King, why not teach me another art? Maybe I can comprehend an even more powerful divine technique!"

Sun Wukong immediately passed down the Great Art of the Heavenly Immortal.

Su Zi'an gazed at the immortal art, which had brought him no progress at all. His cultivation aptitude was too poor, and he was destined to have no connection with immortal arts.

A figure stood amid the mortal world and looked back at Su Zi'an.

"Old Monkey, is there a realm beyond the Ninth Level of Immortality?"

"And what did you comprehend from the Great Art of the Heavenly Immortal?"

Watching Sun Wukong become a Mortal World Immortal, Su Zi'an was dumbfounded.

When a Sun Wukong radiating the aura of a Saint appeared in Journey to the West, the Three Realms were shaken!

"Sun Wukong has become a Saint, and you still want him to journey west to fetch the scriptures, Tathagata?"
