The Ghost Envoy of the Underworld

The Fifth Avici Hell, also known as the Avici Hell, is the most agonizing of the Eight Great Hells.

A hellish ghost officer takes human form in the mortal world and uses his Yin-Yang Eyes to punish evil and help the innocent, accumulating merit in hopes of earning the favor of Ksitigarbha and becoming a Buddha.

But the desires of this mortal world are impossible to escape, and its grudges and tangled relationships never end. Worse, figures from the upper realms see him as a pawn and have other plans for him...

"You're an online troll paid to spread rumors... You ruined someone's family and drove them to their deaths!

"And you? You staged multiple fake accidents and fleeced the kind people who tried to help you, leaving them destitute and in agony! Right?"

"I've been sent by the King of the Underworld to take you to the Fifth Avici Hell. But you can keep your eyes and your tongue..."

"How awful! The killer must be a complete psychopath!... Two eyes, a tongue, and thirty-two teeth, all laid out neatly on the bed!

...They'll suffer in the Fifth Avici Hell! Its guards aren't ordinary ghosts. They're all ghost officers!"
