Journey to the West with Tang Sanzang

In the Southern Continent, a post-00s young man named Lin Zi Da seems to stumble into Tang Sanzang's pilgrimage team.

In truth, the Buddhists have arranged for him to become their puppet ruler over the Southern Continent after the pilgrimage.

The Heavenly Court and the Daoists see through their scheme. How could they allow it? They secretly coerce him, trying to force him into serving their own interests.

After receiving instruction and powers from a wise master, the young man secretly deals with the demons they encounter along the way, all of whom have powerful backers and influence, and even Sun Wukong is helpless against them. This earns him the joint pursuit of the Buddhists, Daoists, and Heavenly Court.

The "male lead" comes to his senses. He changes the line, "I only wish to bear a jade fruit in my next life, and become a Buddha's soul atop Kunlun Mountain," to: "I only wish to bear a jade fruit in my next life, and become a 'heroic soul' atop Kunlun Mountain!"

Then he leads the "human race" of the Southern Continent in a struggle against these three forces! In the end...
