Reborn in Journey to the West: I Am the Demon Lord

By chance, Su Qingchen arrives in the world of Journey to the West, born into the womb as Princess Jadeface, daughter of the Ten Thousand Years Fox King of Jilei Mountain.

Thinking of the tragic fate awaiting this doomed character, she is close to tears. Fortunately, Su Qingchen is strong-minded and determined, and she quickly pulls herself together, resolved to change her fate.

To that end, she makes plans at every turn, starting even before birth. She purifies her bloodline and lays the foundation for nine tails; takes water illusions as her basis and follows a unique path; establishes a demon market and ties together the interests of all sides...

She insists on becoming stronger through her own efforts and never entrusts her fate to anyone else. At the same time, she makes plans on two fronts: once she becomes an immortal, she will take Jilei Mountain's vast fortune and join the Celestial Court, securing a new status for her whole family. But plans cannot keep up with change. She never expected to be of the Su clan, a descendant of Daji. Because of an ancient war, she is destined to be unable to join the righteous ranks and to stand against all the gods and Buddhas in heaven.

Countless years later, she stands with her sleeves gathered before the ruins of the Ninth Heaven, immortal bones beneath her feet and the corpses of gods and demons behind her. She murmurs, "I only ever wanted to be a good demon!"
