Superpowers: The Gods' Tournament and the Proxy War

A parallel universe collapsed, and countless gods invaded, vying for divine positions in a new world.

The battles between the gods were brutal and destructive.

To prevent this world from collapsing, both sides reached an agreement and began a proxy war.

Agreement One: To keep the world from collapsing, the gods may not fight in person. Instead, they must choose mortals as their proxies, granting them powers to fight.

Agreement Two: To ensure fairness and impartiality, the gods may not appoint their proxies. Proxies are chosen at random.

Agreement Three: To minimize destruction as much as possible, the powers granted to proxies by the gods are restricted.

Agreement Four: To balance the combatants, the gods are divided into five levels, from strongest to weakest: 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. A proxy of a Level 1 god, the strongest, may receive only one of that god's abilities, and so on. A proxy of a Level 5 god receives five of that god's abilities.

Agreement Five: Once the proxy war begins, victory is determined by points, gathering faith, and survival.

The proxy war ends when the number of proxies falls to ten or fewer.
