Thirty years ago, the police selected two graduates from the Public Security University. They drew lots to decide who would go undercover in a criminal organization and who would support him from the city bureau as he climbed the ranks. At first, the two helped each other succeed. A few years later, the undercover officer inside the organization had risen to second-in-command, but he had lost contact with his handler. Over the years, the police continued placing Public Security University graduates undercover in the criminal organization, but the recruits either disappeared or switched sides. The police had no choice but to change their plan. They recruited three students who had yet to graduate from ordinary universities to infiltrate the organization. That's where the story begins.
