Livestreaming the War of Resistance: I’m in Charge of Season 2

Chen Rui is a streamer who specializes in poking fun at over-the-top anti-Japanese war dramas.

By accident, he gets a livestream System and transmigrates to the S2 world of 1940...

Chen Rui: "Things are extremely tough for our Longguo at this stage. It's common for soldiers to go hungry. They often have nothing but millet porridge and cornmeal buns..."

Viewers: Your guerrillas eat white-flour buns and beef stewed with potatoes every day...

Chen Rui: "Guys, do you know why we have to pick up bullet casings during a war? Because our military industry is underdeveloped at this stage. We're short on guns, and we also have to bring the casings back to reload and make new bullets."

"Those Japanese devils are afraid we'll take the casings back to reload them, so they pick them up too."

Viewers: How come every guerrilla in your unit has a gun, you fire bullets like they cost nothing, and you never pick up the casings!

Gradually, viewers realize that Chen Rui's guerrillas seem to have gone off track.

Armored units appear. The air force appears. The navy appears.

Compared to Chen Rui's livestream, things like ripping Japanese soldiers apart with bare hands, blowing up planes with rocks, shooting bullets with rubber bands, and steamed-bun grenades are all laughably weak.

Chen Rui's livestream is the real over-the-top war drama. Viewers can't get enough of it.
