Honghuang: A Wutong Tree Takes Human Form, Beginning with a Fateful Meeting with Nuwa

Wutong transmigrates into the primordial world, becoming a primordial parasol tree on Buzhou Mountain.

With an insignificant destiny, weak powers, and no mighty protector, he is forced to embark on a path of forging bonds.

When the Demon Court forcibly recruits him, he uses his primordial tree origins as an excuse to forge a bond with the mighty Nuwa, winning her protection and escaping the calamity.

He forges a bond with the divine beast Qiongqi, protects its bloodline, obtains an ancient Qiongqi ancestor's horn, and refines it into the spiritual treasure Heaven-Piercing Horn.

He forges bonds with Feng Bo and Yu Shi, exchanging insights on the Dao and gaining the Xun Wind movement art and the Yin-Yang Spirit Rain ability.

He forges bonds with the Ancient Three Clans, comprehends the Nirvana Fire art in the Undying Volcano, finds a primordial Dragon Pearl in the boundless seas, and grasps the Qilin Manifestation art in a secret Peach Garden realm.

When destiny falls short, forge bonds to make up for it.

Wutong traverses the primordial world on foot, forging bonds with all living beings. He refines treasures, cultivates arts, comprehends the Dao, creates divine abilities, and comes to understand himself. He slays wicked demons to earn merit and supports the weak to prove his worth.

Many years later, after the rise and fall of the Wu and Yao clans have come to an end, the story of the Parasol Tree Ancestor's ascension to the Dao is only just beginning.
