Journey to the West: Heaven-Defying Comprehension, Starting as a Soul-Catching Envoy!

Yu Ping'an transmigrates to the prehistoric era of the Journey to the West and becomes a lowly soul-reaper in the Underworld.

After drinking a bowl of Meng Po's Soup, you awaken heaven-defying comprehension in a daze and grasp the Great Dao of Reincarnation!

After observing the Nine Heavens and the surging Yellow Springs, you create the secret art, Blue Heaven and Yellow Springs!

You comprehend the laws of reincarnation, understand the foundations of the Six Paths of Reincarnation, and derive the cultivation art, the Grand Void Reincarnation Origin Sutra!

And so Yu Ping'an diligently captures souls and cultivates.

One day, he receives a new soul-reaping assignment.

"Proceed at once to Water Curtain Cave on Flower-Fruit Mountain in the Eastern Continent of Purvavideha and bring the Handsome Monkey King, Sun Wukong, back to the Underworld. Waste no time!"

Looking at the assignment in his hand, Yu Ping'an wants to curse.

Beneath the tribulation, all living beings are chess pieces.

And he's actually a cannon fodder destined to be killed by the Monkey King's staff. He doesn't even qualify as a chess piece...
