I Sent You to Investigate Cases, So Why Do You Arrest Everyone You Meet?

Jiang Nan transmigrates to Blue Star and becomes a police academy student, activating the Crime System.

At graduation, he signs up for The Most Beautiful People Going Against the Tide, a livestream program produced by the authorities.

On his first day on the job, the System unlocks its crime-scanning function, which can analyze anyone in range and determine how much crime they have committed!

Day one.

On his way to report for duty, he catches three pickpockets on the subway.

The other officers think it's just an ordinary gang of thieves, but Jiang Nan's crime scan reveals that one of the three is not only a thief, but also uses drugs and has killed someone.

After Jiang Nan interrogates them, it turns out that someone really has used drugs and committed murder.

Just as everyone thinks it was a one-off coincidence...

Day two.

While investigating a case of assault, he discovers a drug manufacturing plant that has been hidden for three years. That night, he even catches a major drug lord who is on the run, all by himself.

Day three.

While investigating a missing-person case, he runs into a serial killer who has been at it for six years, caught in the act by Jiang Nan.
