Intern Lawyer: Defending a Death Row Inmate from the Start!

In a parallel world, lawyer Qin Yi encounters the Hohhot case from the start, a case known as "the greatest miscarriage of justice of the century."

The suspect was accused of murder and rape and executed by firing squad twenty years ago!

With the accused long dead, there is no evidence left, and the case has become a cold case!

But determined to deliver justice, Qin Yi stands up to immense pressure, overcomes obstacle after obstacle, and appeals all the way to the Supreme People's Court!

"My petition: overturn the original verdict, restore the deceased's good name, and grant national compensation!"

"My petition: hold every public security, procuratorate, and court official involved in this miscarriage of justice criminally responsible!"

In court, Qin Yi takes on all comers in a battle of words and ultimately wins with an airtight chain of evidence!

Afterward, Qin Yi continues winning one seemingly unwinnable case after another:

A rural murder case fueled by superstition, the food safety case dubbed "pointing at a rat and calling it a duck," a famous star accused of raping a fan, a malicious marriage scammer who drove her programmer husband to his death...

Until one day, Qin Yi stands at the plaintiff's table in the International Court of Justice in The Hague.

"My petition: seize Japanese assets in China and compensate our people for the damage caused by Japan's invasion during World War II!"
