My Taoist Arts Have Heaven-Defying Comprehension, Yet I Become a Disciple of the Western Sect?

Chen Chan transmigrates into the primordial world and becomes the first sarira in all creation!

Because of his origins, he plans to seek a master in the West, but unexpectedly activates the Xuanmen Great Dao System!

Western Buddhist teachings look like rubbish to him, as incomprehensible as a heavenly book. He can't understand a word!

Eastern Daoist teachings, on the other hand, are easy for him to learn! He takes to them like a fish to water, with heaven-defying comprehension. He is clearly a heaven-sent, invincible Daoist disciple of the Xuanmen!

So, just after arriving at Mount Sumeru, Chen Chan declares that he's going east to seek the Three Pure Ones as his masters.

But just as he's about to leave, two bald monks stop him.

"Young friend, we can see that you have accumulated great merit and share a profound affinity with the West. You should enter our Western sect and cultivate Buddhist teachings..."

"By the way, we two are the leaders of the Western Religion!"

And so, by the time Chen Chan comes to his senses, the two Western sages have already tricked him into going up Mount Sumeru.

Chen Chan is on the verge of tears, his face full of despair.

"Wait, I can't practice Western teachings for the rest of my life, and you're saying I have an affinity with the West?"

"Let go! I want to go east! I want the Three Pure Ones of the Xuanmen as my masters!"

"Three Pure Ones, I want to take care of you in your old age!"
