Houtu of the Primordial World: Clear-Eyed in the Mortal Realm, Founding the Earthly Dao

I am Houtu, one of the Twelve Ancestral Witches, the Ancestral Witch of Earth!

According to the story of the primordial world, I was destined to create the Netherworld in later ages, committing the only mistake of my life!

With insufficient strength, I would be trapped in the Netherworld forever by the Heavenly Dao, never allowed to set foot outside it!

I would have to watch helplessly as the Witch Clan perished and my eleven elder brothers died one after another...

Thankfully, all of this came only from the memories of an insignificant ant!

He called himself a transmigrator. While I was taking form, he seized the opportunity to invade my body, trying to possess me and take my place!

In an instant, this ant was slain by the remnants of the divine might that had split open Heaven and Earth. All that remained were his memories and an exceedingly faint primordial spirit!

From that moment on,

Houtu was born anew: intent on establishing the Earthly Dao, overturning Heaven and Earth, and possessing a primordial spirit!

"The Purple Palace? Myriad Immortals coming to pay homage? Nothing but a crowd of ants."

"The Demon Clan? A bunch of beasts, fit only to be food for my Witch Clan."

"Hongjun? Nothing but a lowly earthworm."

And after establishing the Earthly Dao, Houtu, as its Sage, went straight to blockade the gates of Zixiao Palace!

"The Six Sages of the Heavenly Dao? I wonder how they compare to the Twelve Sages of our Earthly Dao."
