Four of a Kind: Bring Four Twos

1. Once a work exceeds 6,000 characters, it can be featured on the Update Rankings. The more characters it has, the longer it will stay featured. New books can generally get exposure. We recommend launching with more than 8,000 characters, then posting another chapter after the book is successfully published to qualify for the maximum new-book exposure.

2. Signing a contract with your work will further increase its exposure time. We recommend signing as soon as your work meets the requirements!

3. If your work is unsigned and exceeds 150,000 characters, its exposure will be reduced accordingly.

4. New books get a certain amount of extra exposure when they go on sale!

5. Works without a cover receive a slight exposure penalty. An unattractive presentation harms the user experience, so we strongly recommend uploading a cover as soon as you start your book.

6. Ghostwritten works receive an exposure penalty. Poor-quality ghostwriting can seriously harm readers' experience!
