I Asked You to Make an Anti-Drug PSA, Not Sleep Your Way to the Top

On his very first day after transmigrating to a parallel world, Lin Mo is publicly fired by his government employer.

The reason? He took one day too much of his paid recuperation leave.

"I work six days a week, every week. I work overtime on holidays without overtime pay, but you discipline me for taking one extra day of recuperation leave?"

"Lin Mo, take a moment to reflect. Why is everyone else not taking recuperation leave, while you insist on taking it?"

Lin Mo: "It's my own recuperation leave. There's nothing illegal about taking it, is there?"

In a fit of anger, he quits! Then heads north to enter the Supernova Director Competition!

For the first round, he has to make an anti-drug public service announcement!

Lin Mo's unexpected approach brings the entire internet to tears!

Former section chief: "Lin Mo, Lin Mo, I knew you were something special! Come back! I'll give you my position!"

Former division director: "Xiao Lin, we need talented people like you! Come back! I'll make sure you get an excellent rating this year!"

Former bureau chief: "Who was it that wanted to discipline Xiao Lin? Investigate! Give it a thorough investigation!!"

Former colleagues: "Didn't you say you were going out to make a name for yourself?"

"And now you're back as a director whose films have grossed over ten billion?!"
