Thirteen Letters: My Father Isn't a Scumbag, He's an Undercover Agent

Su Qingliu, now an award-winning actress, once joined streamer Da Bing for a live call.

She said her father was trash, a criminal, a scumbag who had wronged her mother and didn't deserve to be called a father!

A father like that was a lifelong disgrace to her. Her greatest wish was to bring him to justice and denounce every one of his crimes to his face!

..

At almost the same time, Da Bing connected with someone whose voice was old and frail.

The man said he was dying, and his last wish was to wait until the wheat ripened, then keep walking south.

Su Qingliu recognized her father from his voice alone, even though she hadn't seen him in more than a decade! She called the police on the spot, and they tracked him down and arrested him!

But after she found thirteen letters and pieced together her father's memories, she finally understood. He had spent twenty years undercover on his own, and his body was already ravaged by countless wounds. Yet, by himself, he had taken down a criminal organization a thousand strong!

He wasn't a scumbag. He was an undercover hero who had silently endured unimaginable pain!

But when she learned the truth and broke down in tears, she realized that her father's life had already reached its end…
