In the Name of Kanagawa

In 1995, five-year-old Sakura was sent to an orphanage after her mother died. In Kanagawa, she meets Izana, and their friendship will be her joy, pain, and lesson for the rest of her life. As children, they dreamed of building a better world together, but their dreams were destined not to come true, as Sakura was soon adopted and she moved to Shibui, where she joined a new team and made friends. But years later, old connections resurface and her two worlds, past and present, collide. This novel and its characters are purely fictitious.
