Rule Horror: But I'm Bai Wuchang

Chen Yao transmigrates into the role of Black Impermanence. He works diligently around the clock every day, but never meets his quota.

As the saying goes, hard work is wasted when you're headed in the wrong direction.

Just as he's feeling lost about his ghostly existence, he's suddenly chosen by the Rules of Horror.

When he enters the world of the Rules of Horror, his initial confusion gradually turns to delight.

Seeing "quotas" floating all around these places, Chen Yao knows his ghostly life is about to change forever.

In the world of rules, he no longer has to worry about his "colleagues" stealing his quotas.

One quota after another practically comes knocking on his door, saving him the trouble of running around in search of "quotas."

While the other chosen ones fret over whether the rules are correct, he frantically tests the false rules and baits the ghosts into breaking them.

You left your post during working hours and triggered a rule!

Watching the rule take effect, Chen Yao slowly pulls out his Soul-Reaping Rope from his hiding place in the restroom. "One quota, two quotas, three quotas..."

The rule triggers, and a woman in white slowly crawls out of the television. "Get over here!"

"A haunted school? Holy crap, I've landed in a quota mine!"
