Global IQ Drops, and I Become the World's Top Scholar

Note: Everything unreasonable in this book is reasonable.

After waking up, the protagonist discovers that the whole world has changed.

Everyone's IQ has dropped tenfold, and he alone is unaffected.

Even something as simple as 1 + 1 = 2 is now something only middle schoolers can learn.

At the college entrance exam:

Chinese: “Write out the poem Thoughts on a Quiet Night from memory.”

Math: “Write out the multiplication table up to nine.”

English: “Write the English word for apple.”

He stares at the exam paper in his hands, lost in thought. “Holy crap! Am I the smartest person in the world now?”

“Oh no! I just wrote a random equation on the exam paper!”

Mathematicians: “What! A student taking the college entrance exam has written an equation! I refuse to believe there's a genius like this in the world!”

Poets and scholars: “Good heavens! He can recite the entire Prelude to the Water Melody! A miracle!”

The public: “Xu Yang isn't just incredibly smart. He even knows you have to add salt when cooking, without anyone teaching him! A prodigy!”

Amid the endless cries of “genius” and “prodigy,” Xu Yang falls silent...

“Doesn't everyone know how to do this?”
