Offer Up My Youth, Lift the Gloom from Your Heart

People always want to help a naive girl who has lost her lover move on from her grief and find happiness.

But is that really what happiness means to her?

“Why won’t anyone let me keep loving him?

“Even though he has gone to the world of the dead, he is still my first love, the person I love most.

“I want to remember him forever. I don’t want these feelings to vanish without a trace.

“I don’t want to trouble anyone, and I don’t want anyone to disturb me.

“I just want to gaze at the starry sky alone and make a wish upon a star.

“That’s all… What’s so wrong with holding on to this?”

“Why doesn’t anyone understand me? Why does everyone want me to forget him?”

The girl clings to a love from the past.

The boy gives his youth, hoping to save the girl lost in darkness and loneliness.
