Grand Preceptor Wen in Honghuang: Clear-Eyed and Sober, I Won't Serve the Shang Dynasty

On the eve of the Investiture of the Gods, a transmigrator seized Wen Zhong's body, only for Wen Zhong to kill him on the spot and obtain the transmigrator's memories and a piece of the Great Dao Azure Lotus!

The Calamity of the Investiture of the Gods? The Jie Sect wiped out in one fell swoop?

Shen Gongbao's "Fellow Daoist, please stay" was practically a weapon that sealed one's fate?

And even his own grandmaster, Tongtian Jiaozhu, would end up imprisoned in the Zixiao Palace?!!

And all of this happened because he became Wen Taishi of the Shang Dynasty?

After learning the truth, Wen Zhong was dumbfounded.

Fortunately, there was still time to change everything. I, Wen Zhong of the Jie Sect, see things clearly. I won't join the Shang court! I'll be Grand Preceptor of the Great Zhou!

The Shang Dynasty wants to appoint me Grand Preceptor? Wen Zhong not only refused, he turned around and recommended Jiang Ziya to King Zhou! He'd drag the Chan Sect into the calamity!

Hongjun: "What the heck? Isn't the normal script supposed to have the Jie Sect helping the Shang Dynasty? How did Wen Zhong become Grand Preceptor of the Great Zhou?"

Yuanshi: "Why do I keep feeling like I'm the villain here..."

And when Hongjun tried to force the plot back on track and the Four Saints still surrounded the Jie Sect, Wen Zhong once again brought out Yang Mei Daxian from Yingzhou Island. "Yang Mei Daxian attained the Dao three thousand years before the Dao Ancestor! Tell me, how are you going to deal with that?"
