Under the Abyss

What is an abyss? The abyss is a world that never bottoms out, full of despair and misery. Many people have stared into the abyss, but they have never seen any of them come back. In my opinion, the most benevolent thing about this world is that the human mind cannot comprehend its entire content. We live on a peaceful island called ignorance, surrounded by endless abyss into which we are not meant to peer. Courage, wisdom - any kind of wisdom encourages exploration into the abyss according to its own direction, so it brings little harm; but sooner or later, the abyss will become deeper and deeper, releasing greater temptations and making people go deeper and deeper. The further you go down, the desperate scenes about the abyss will slowly unfold, revealing the desperate situation of human beings in it. We will either go crazy, or we will escape from this deadly light and hide in the deeper abyss, enjoying the silence and safety there. This novel and its characters are purely fictitious. Any similarity is purely coincidental and should not be imitated.
