This activates the Monster-Taming System: as long as he subdues a monster, it will follow him devotedly, and he will receive a reward.

"Subdued the blue-eyed white fox. Reward: one Golden Elixir of Taiyi! Eat it, and you can immediately establish your foundation."

"Subdued the black-skinned donkey demon. Reward: the Myriad Things Alchemy Furnace, which can refine any spirit herb in the world."

"Subdued the tusked boar demon. Reward: the Seven-Star Sword, which can be controlled from afar to slay enemies and can change size."

"Subdued the Demon Sage Stone Monkey. Reward: the Heaven-Swallowing Mending Art, which lets you cultivate the Dao and become an immortal sage!"
