I Went to Korea to Make Movies, and My Box Office Reigns over the World

Gu Fei transmigrates to a parallel world and becomes a film and television director.

For certain reasons, he's banned by the Chinese entertainment industry.

With no other choice, Gu Fei heads to South Korea to build his career.

Drawing on his memories, he brings over A New World, a film that dominated Korean and Chinese entertainment in his previous world. It makes Korean actors Hwang Jung-min and Lee Jung-jae famous, and Korean film emperor Choi Min-sik takes a supporting role. The film ultimately wins three major awards, including the Blue Dragon and the Baeksang.

Just as netizens decide that this newcomer from the Rabbit Country can only make gangster movies, Gu Fei writes and directs When a Man Is in Love, a tender tearjerker that becomes the best Korean film of its kind in the past decade.

After that, Gu Fei makes Hope, Silenced, and Chronicle of a Blood Merchant, exposing the dark side of Korean society.

A few years later, after winning so many awards he can barely hold them all, Gu Fei returns to the Rabbit Country in glory.

Renowned Chinese director Feng Xiaogang personally welcomes him.

Zhang Yimou even calls himself Gu Fei's junior.

Big Mi Mi visits Gu Fei three times, hoping to land the third female lead in his next film.
