Entering a Retirement Home at Twenty: Skipping Forty Years of Detours

Wang Mo unexpectedly transmigrates to a parallel world with an intensely competitive work culture. Everyone here is crazy: they take pride in working and delight in overtime, with beliefs bordering on the pathological.

While struggling to accept this, Wang Mo is invited to join a show called Everyone’s Profession, where he unexpectedly activates the Lie Flat System.

According to the System, all he has to do is lie flat to receive rewards.

Everyone’s Profession, meanwhile, encourages contestants to work. Whoever performs best wins the final reward.

So while the other contestants work themselves to the bone, Wang Mo decisively chooses to retire in a nursing home.

He skips straight to retirement, cutting out forty years of detours.

Reporter: “You’re even worse than that twenty-year-old who became a security guard!”

Wang Mo: “Am I? But a security guard still has to watch the gate. Retiring straight away is much more comfortable.”

Reporter: “You’re so young. Is there any point in wasting your life like this?”

Wang Mo: “How is this wasting my life? I’m enjoying it. Isn’t that what you’re all alive for?”

“Holy crap, I actually think he makes a lot of sense.”
