Writing Generic Web Fiction Doesn't Pay? I Just Can't Stop!

Ye Ye transmigrates to a parallel world.

He discovers that his predecessor was a writer who had joined a competitive literary variety show.

Each contestant writes a novel according to the show's requirements, and the audience votes on the spot.

Ye Ye brings out famous novels from Earth, only to find that they win him acclaim but lose him popularity.

So Ye Ye gets an idea and pulls out the popular wish-fulfillment fiction that took Earth by storm!

"How can there be such satisfying stories in the world?"

It sweeps through countless primary and middle school students, with readers eagerly following every update.

The judges, however, all criticize his lack of skill, saying that this kind of light fiction has little substance.

Ye Ye chuckles. "You think all I can write is light fiction? I'm just afraid you wouldn't understand anything else!"

Traditional writers: "Who would pay to read light fiction? You won't make any money writing like that."

Ye Ye: ???

The annual ranking of the richest writers is released.

The entire internet is stunned: the combined royalties of every writer in the Dragon Kingdom don't amount to even a fraction of Ye Ye's earnings!

This novel and its characters are entirely fictional. Any resemblance to reality is purely coincidental. Do not imitate.
