The Absurd Life of Xiao Yu

This book tells the story of Xiaoyu's muddled yet surprisingly eventful life. Xiaoyu is a distant cousin of mine, both older and younger than me. He was quite clever from a young age, and very handsome too, standing six feet tall with an air of distinction. I've always thought he was a smart person. But his life turned out to be a complete mess.

He was born in the early 1990s, and his family had two younger brothers and a younger sister. He was the eldest child, with two younger brothers and a younger sister below him. He was also the youngest child in the family, and the one who received the least attention. Back then, many people favored boys over girls.

After he was born, everyone in the family treated him well. But in those days, the preference for boys was still deeply ingrained, so he didn't receive enough love and attention. This contributed to his rebellious, extreme, and antisocial personality later on.
