Global Wasteland: Weren't We Supposed to Farm in the Apocalypse?

Human civilization was destroyed in an instant by a strike launched across the universe by an extraterrestrial civilization.

Billions of people dissolved, and billions more mutated, leaving human civilization in ruins.

This is an apocalypse without backstabbing, because finding even one living person is genuinely difficult.

It was supposed to be a cheerful story about rebuilding in a wasteland, but in the end, it became a journey to save the world.

P.S. Not depressing or dark. A cheerful, heartwarming, passionate story with a perfect ending.
