Blaze: The Winds Rise and Clouds Gather! I Am the Shaman King

When the calamity of an entire nation being wiped out overnight befalls Altanbaya, he decides to become the most powerful shaman mage on the continent of Carlo and avenge his people.

Through long years of training and trials, he masters the power of many elements, including wind, water, and fire, and becomes the empire's most outstanding shaman mage.

A legendary dragon becomes his mount. Along the way, he takes on quests and earns gold to begin the great work of restoring his kingdom.

But just as he is about to become a mighty avenger, he somehow ends up becoming the Shaman King instead.

"Don't you like being the Shaman King? I could do it for you," a gluttonous elf earnestly suggests.

"Can you act as my stand-in?" Altanbaya asks, just as he is about to go buy some food to replenish his energy.

"As if! I'd rather be a full-time glutton," the elf says with a laugh.
