Building a Heavenly Court in the Mortal World

Six hundred years ago, the Heavenly Dao collapsed, causing countless immortals and gods to fall into the cycle of reincarnation. As a result, immortals and gods vanished from the world. With no immortals or gods to be seen, the power of cultivation techniques and talismans used by human cultivators began to weaken or stopped working altogether.

"Six hundred years ago, the Heavenly Dao collapsed, and the mortal world was plunged into misery. I could not bear to see it. Today, I pass the throne of the Jade Emperor on to you. Do not disappoint me. From now on, you must follow the Way of Heaven, spread its virtue, bring forth creation, and save all living things!"

The Jade Emperor looked down at Qing Feng and said, "Mingxin, why haven't you accepted the decree?"

Only after the Jade Emperor's reminder did Li Qingyun snap to his senses. "This humble Daoist, Qing Feng, accepts the decree. From now on, I shall follow the Way of Heaven, spread its virtue, bring forth creation, and save all living things! I will not fail Your Majesty's trust."
