Zhu Di Finds the History of the Ming Dynasty, Exposing Me as an Emperor for the Ages

In the twelfth year of Yongle, Zhu Di launches a northern campaign and destroys the Oirat in a single stroke, bringing half the grasslands into Ming territory!

On his triumphant return, he happens to find a book of Ming history. It records:

"In the twelfth year, Wushen, the Chengzu emperor campaigned north and reached Hulan Hushiwun. Mahamu led his men to attack, but was soundly defeated. The Oirat submitted."

"The Chengzu emperor's tactical brilliance accounted for only thirty percent of this victory. The remaining seventy percent was due to the schemes of a hidden mastermind, all thanks to..."

Zhu Di is furious!

He's still alive, yet his temple name has already appeared in the book.

But then he notices that this history of the Ming records events up through the fifteenth year of Yongle.

Could it really be a history book compiled by people of a later age?

His crushing defeat of the Oirat is a glorious achievement, one of the greatest in the annals of history, yet he only gets thirty percent of the credit? Who gets the other seventy percent...?

Zhu Di orders a thorough investigation.

Then monopolistic organizations such as the Transportation Company, the Maritime Transport Bureau, and the banks are exposed. Seventy percent of the officials are implicated. The Ming dynasty even has an underground emperor!

A year later, Zhu Di finds another book, the Veritable Records of the Shengzu Emperor.

Zhu Di is stunned: All of this was done by his grandson, Zhu Zhanyuan?

Is he an emperor for the ages?

The universally acclaimed greatest emperor in later generations?
