You Asked Me to Lead a Cat Pack to Safety, and I Became the Nine-Lives Cat King

"Who are you?!" After waking up, Lihu spotted the two unfamiliar she-cats in front of him. His green eyes flashed with wariness, and the fur along the back of his neck stood on end.

Ju Pi purred. "We're cats from Maple Forest. I'm Ju Pi, and this is my older sister, Hua Lian. I came with her to gather herbs, and you were lying here. Don't worry, this is our territory. We've refreshed the scent markers, so no other cats will come here."

"Your territory... is Maple Forest?"

Lihu repeated the words. As his night vision slowly returned, he saw the light-orange tabby she-cat in front of him nod, confirming his guess. Lihu's eyes shifted as he grumbled to himself. He'd survived, sure, but why was he still in their territory?
