A Painting by Lin Ye

During the Republic of China, Lin Ye, who had no father or mother since he was a child, kept company with a painting of a beautiful lady all day long, and often imitated the content of the painting, and his painting skills gradually matured. One day many years later, Feng Tao, a close friend of life and death, took Lin Ye's imitation paintings to auction in order to pay off his gambling debts. He was exposed and his life was threatened. Feng Tao could only beg Lin Ye to sell the real painting, but was refused. During the fight between the two, they unexpectedly awakened the characters in the painting, and thus unveiled a love-hate relationship spanning thousands of years.
