The Only Celestial Master in a Supernatural World

"Knock, knock-knock, knock!"

A strange, crisp yet oppressive knocking sounded at the door.

The sound pierced his eardrums and reached deep into his brain.

The first knock made his brain ache.

The second sent his blood flowing backward.

The third made him nauseous and dizzy, and he began to suffocate.

After the fourth knock, his heart stopped beating.

The Knocking Ghost's rules for killing had been fulfilled. Unless something unexpected happened, Chen Zhou was going to die.

The talisman he'd prepared in advance for self-defense turned to dust. Chen Zhou emerged from the chaos, his mind clear and his body lighter than ever.

He formed a sword-finger sign to slay demons and exorcise evil. Seeing that the talisman had worked, he felt boundless confidence.

He turned his silent thought into a loud shout.

"I beseech the mighty General to slay demons and exorcise evil! Kill!"

He opened the door and swung his arm down. The old man in a black hat, his body covered in livor mortis and his skin wrinkled, was split in two.

Thus, Chen Zhou stepped into a strange new world.

He became the world's only Celestial Master, its savior, its immortal.
