The Devil Director: Threatening Guan Gege from the Start

Blackmailing celebrities, throwing his weight around, plastic-surgery faces, being a mistress, shady dual contracts... Paparazzi reporter Cao Wei has dirt on countless people in the entertainment industry. From the start, he tries to extort 500,000 yuan from Guan Gege, but gets into a car accident on his way to collect the money...

Cao Wei thought that was the end of him. But when he opens his eyes, he finds himself reborn in 2009,

and turned into a failed web-drama director, bound to a Big Villain System and embarking on a revenge-fueled journey of showing off and face-slapping.

Guan Gege: "I don't understand what I did to offend him. He keeps forcing me to do difficult stunts."

Da Baobei: "Director Cao is a great director. Thanks to his guidance, I've improved by leaps and bounds."

Cao Wei: "I'm not a demon. I'm just a director."
