I Just Fought My Way Up to the Southern Heavenly Gate, and You're Saying It's the Gate of Eternal Life?

"So what if there are a hundred thousand heavenly soldiers and generals?"

"Old Sun will knock every last one of them dead with a single swing. Today, Old Sun will become the Jade Emperor too."

Throughout the myriad heavens, countless immortals and gods watch Sun Wukong wreak havoc in the Celestial Palace and slaughter a hundred thousand heavenly soldiers and generals. Even the Great Encompassing Golden Immortals seem no match for him!

Just as he is about to enter Heaven through the Southern Heavenly Gate, a figure steps in Sun Wukong's way.

"Who dares make a scene before the Gate of Eternal Life?"

A figure sits cross-legged within the Gate of Eternal Life. Boundless divine radiance shines around him, the Three Thousand Great Daos circle overhead, and billions of worlds seem to crumble.

The mighty figure points at Sun Wukong, intending to kill him with a single strike!

Sun Wukong hurriedly lowers his head and kneels before the Southern Heavenly Gate. "This Old Sun was out of line. Please forgive me, Heavenly King Zengzhang. This Old Sun is willing to serve beneath the Southern Heavenly Gate for all eternity!"

Serve as a gatekeeper beneath the Southern Heavenly Gate?

Then who'll go on the Journey to the West?

The immortals and gods of the myriad heavens stare at Sun Wukong, seated beneath the Southern Heavenly Gate, dumbstruck.
