In the Heavenly Court, I Guarded the Gate of Eternal Life for Billions of Years

Reborn in Journey to the West, Su Zi'an becomes Mo Liqing, one of Heaven's gatekeepers. At least he's still an immortal deity.

But Su Zi'an discovers that Mo Liqing has been secretly refining the Southern Heavenly Gate. If Heaven finds out, he'll surely be killed. He might as well call on the other three Heavenly Kings to rebel against Heaven!

“Brothers, I've finished refining the Southern Heavenly Gate, and learned that it's the legendary Gate of Eternal Life.”

“The Three Thousand Great Daos and spiritual treasures from all the heavens flow out of the Gate of Eternal Life.”

“Don't believe me? Strike your treasures against the Southern Heavenly Gate, and they'll grow stronger.”

Ding! The Southern Heavenly Gate has advanced into an Innate Spiritual Treasure, and three acquired spiritual treasures have flowed out.

Creation artifacts, the Three Thousand Great Daos, and the Myriad Worlds flow out of the Southern Heavenly Gate.

The Southern Heavenly Gate advances into an Innate Supreme Treasure, a Chaos Supreme Treasure, and the Gate of Eternal Life.

The three Heavenly Kings look at Su Zi'an expectantly.

“Mo Liqing, Heavenly King of the South, how about rebelling against Heaven and becoming the Jade Emperor?”

That could work.

Fine, I'll come clean: I'm the spirit of the Gate of Eternal Life, and I've guarded it for billions of years!
