The Ways of the World

Since ancient times, when people have been desperate and helpless, or have wanted something they could not obtain, they have prayed to gods and Buddhas, or even raised little ghosts, in hopes of getting what they desired. The flaws of human nature and people's greed give demons and monsters an opportunity to take advantage. Our protagonist, He Yingqiu, is a Taoist priest who hunts demons and exorcises evil. He spends his whole life walking among ordinary people, hoping that one day he can complete his merits and escape the suffering of the cycle of reincarnation.
