I Just Signed Up for a Retake Class, and I Got an Admission Letter from the National Defense University

Chu Bai transmigrates and becomes a student who failed the college entrance exam. Looking at his dismal score, he gives up on applying to colleges and instead signs up for a repeat program, determined to take the exam again next year and get into an undergraduate program.

But his mother secretly submits applications for him. His first choice is the National University of Defense Technology, his second the Army Command College, and his third the Army Infantry College...

Chu Bai has just paid the repeat program tuition and joined a summer class full of poor students when an EMS courier arrives with three military academy admission letters, stunning the teacher and all the other students.

What the heck? You got into three military academies, and you're still here repeating the year?

Chu Bai is just as bewildered. With his college entrance exam score of 200, he can still attend a military academy?

Only after looking into it does Chu Bai learn that his family is full of fallen heroes. His father, uncle, and eldest uncle, none of whom had ever appeared in his memories, were all unknown martyrs who died serving their country. The military's top brass owe his family a promise: to send the only heir of the Chu family to a military academy and make him an officer...
