Great Tang: Taking the Imperial Exams, My Father Is the Emperor

The Tang Dynasty at its height, during the Zhenguan era.

Li You transmigrates and becomes a Tang prince with the same name: Li You.

He also awakens a sign-in System. Complete a sign-in task, and he'll receive a reward.

Li You is quite pleased with this start.

But the System's first task is to take the imperial examinations and place in the top three.

I'm a prince, and you want me to take the imperial examinations? Is this a joke? The biggest problem is, I can't pass them!

To complete the System task, Li You can only grit his teeth and sit the exam.

And this is the essay topic he gets:

Be concerned before the world is concerned, and rejoice after the world rejoices. A tribute to my imperial father!

After the exam, the examiners begin grading the papers.

Zhangsun Wuji: "I think this essay, 'My Imperial Father,' is excellent. He could be named the top scholar."

Fang Xuanling: "I agree. The writing is indeed the best in the entire examination hall, and the most exemplary."

Du Ruhui: "I agree as well. The top scholar can only be this prince... ahem, this candidate."
