Great Ming: Taking the Imperial Exams, My Father Is the Emperor

Zhu Bai transmigrates to the first year of the Hongwu era and becomes an obscure crown prince. The Ming Dynasty is in desperate need of renewal, and to win the people's support, the Hongwu Emperor Zhu Yuanzhang restores the imperial examinations. Scholars from across the realm head north to take the exams.

Just then, Zhu Bai's System awakens.

The first task from this awful System is to take the imperial examinations, come in first, and do it without cheating.

Zhu Bai is completely emo about it.

By the time he reaches the examination hall, Zhu Bai is already prepared to **, when a sudden flash of inspiration hits him.

The next second, he swiftly writes six large characters on the paper.

My Imperial Father.

After writing the title, he quickly adds a sentence.

"Only later did I realize that the candle lit by my imperial father illuminated not only his bedchamber, but also all the people of this realm, the countless common folk."

He puts down his brush, hands in his paper, and leaves the examination hall with a flourish.

Three days later, the results are posted, and Zhu Bai takes first place!
