I'm Going to Keep Acting Tough. Come On, Hit Me Again!

Lei Xiao transmigrated to the era of the War of Resistance and landed right on top of a Japanese major, killing him. After days and nights of relentless beatings with rifle butts and fists from the Japanese, even they thought he would be beaten into a pulp and die, or at least give in. But not only did he survive, he also refused to submit. On the contrary, the more brutally the Japanese beat him, the stronger his special operations abilities became.

No one could have imagined that he was the Host of the strongest energy conversion System in the entire universe: the Take a Beating System. In the end, he even started provoking the Japanese into beating him.

He thought the System was utterly shameless. To keep it upgrading and earn rewards, he had no choice but to seek beatings everywhere. If there was no opportunity, he had to make one.

After escaping the Japanese forces' control, he immediately launched a counterattack. Together with the Guangxi Army, he held off the Japanese as they advanced toward Nanjing at Benniu Town, on the westernmost edge of Wujin.
