Breaking Free

At my younger sister's wedding, I leaped from the eighteenth floor. The groom by her side had told me just three months earlier that he wanted to marry me.

But I didn't die. Instead, my sister gained control over every decision concerning my family, and my life became worse than death.

In the sprawling villa, watching the two of them cozy up to each other, I had been intent on dying. Now, I resolved to take revenge.

But one strange event after another in the villa, along with my diagnosis of "split personality," made me start doubting what was real. After testing things repeatedly, I concluded I was dreaming. Perhaps I had become a vegetable the moment I jumped.

I wasn't panicked. Instead, I decided to use this as the start of a test of human nature.
