I'm Already Dry. Why Won't You Let Me Leave?

Shen Qing, a five-star chef, dies in a car accident and is reborn as a stray cat shivering in the pouring rain.

The very next moment, Lin Ruyun, his beloved muse who has just returned from his funeral, finds him and takes him back to her rented apartment.

Once they get home, Lin Ruyun bathes and dries him, then takes meticulous care of the blushing Shen Qing.

Lin Ruyun decides to adopt Shen Qing, leaving him stunned.

I'm already dry. Why won't you let me leave?

You want me for my body, is that it?

He never expected Lin Ruyun, who had always seemed so aloof and flawless, to drink and cry in her apartment until she grew tired and fell asleep with her head on the table.

Shen Qing binds himself to a Top-Tier Chef System. Whenever he cooks, he can create extraordinary delicacies.

The System says that every dish he finishes will increase the amount of time he can spend as a human!

Shen Qing has no choice but to climb onto a stool and start a fire to cook.

When he sees Lin Ruyun's blind date smugly flaunting his Michelin one-star credentials, Shen Qing decides to stay a few more days.

Those few days turn into Shen Qing reclaiming his glory as a five-star chef, cooking at state banquets, and becoming the world's greatest culinary master.
