My Paper Has an Impact Factor of 66, and the Whole Internet Is Stunned

Chen Dao gets the ultimate black-tech System from the start, and his undergraduate thesis is published in a top journal with an impact factor of 66.

His roommate asks on Zhihu: My roommate published a paper as an undergrad, and it has an impact factor of 66. What does that mean? Can he get into grad school without taking the entrance exam?

Netizen One: Grad school? You're thinking way too small. Let me put it this way: if I had that kind of record, I could slap my thesis on an advisor's face during the interview, and they'd still praise my digestive system.

Netizen Two: I'm a grad student. An undergraduate paper with an impact factor of 66? The next episode of Into Science will be investigating you.

Netizen Three: I'm a graduate advisor at a certain university. Tell your roommate to come see me. Whatever he wants to study, I'll study it.

Netizen Four: An undergrad could publish a paper like that? You must be joking. Even I wouldn't make up something that outrageous.

The next day, the argument blew up on Zhihu and made the trending list. Chen Dao's identity and paper were exposed, and the whole internet was stunned to discover it was actually true. People all said:

"He must be the strongest undergraduate student ever."

Chen Dao said it was just one paper, and he could produce one with a wave of his hand.
