Hong Kong Films: I Told You to Go Undercover, Not Become the Godfather!

Chen Dao transmigrates at the start to Hong Kong Island in 1982, the era when the criminal gangs are at their most rampant. First, the police send him undercover to Han Chen. Then Han Chen sends him undercover to Wo Shing Wo.

Under his double-agent identity, Chen Dao uses his Reputation Lottery System to rise steadily through the ranks of the gangs.

He takes over the Ni family, commands Hung Hing, and controls Wo Shing Wo. He becomes the godfather of the underworld, a legend in the eyes of Hong Kong Island's gangsters.

But all Chen Dao wants is to return to the police force. He only wanted to be an undercover agent, so how did he end up becoming the godfather?

Chen Dao: "Sir, aren't you going to make the bust yet? I've already become a Red Pole with Double Flowers, and my boss isn't in good health. At this rate, I'll end up as a gang boss."

Chen Dao: "Sir, I'm already a gang boss. They all want me to become the gang leader. Could you please hurry up?"

Chen Dao: "Sir, I'm already the head of a gang. Everyone in the underworld says they want me to become the godfather of Hong Kong Island. Could you be a little more efficient?"
